个人简介
The Body Imaging Service in the Department of Radiology is the largest Service in MSK (over 100 total faculty). In my role as Service Chief, I foster and support the professional and academic development of all faculty and together with the Chair set the strategic vision and oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the Service. I am committed to promoting and developing the highest standards of radiology at MSK and beyond.
I also serve as the Director of Genitourinary Radiology at MSK and have a particular interest in studying cancers involving the urinary system (e.g. prostate, bladder, and kidneys) and the female reproductive organs (e.g. uterus and ovaries). My major research themes integration of increasingly complex multiparametric imaging data from multiple modalities (e.g. MRI and PET), developing and validating new imaging methods with a focus on innovation and translatability and harnessing the power of machine learning to improve efficiency and workflow in medical imaging.
I am committed to being a lifelong learner and teacher, and feel passionate about training the new generation of cancer imagers. I have delivered over 100 invited lectures in over 30 countries and have received teaching awards and recognitions from groups such as the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), the Radiologic Society of North America (RSNA) and the European School of Radiology (ESOR). Internally, I have been honored with the MSK Excellence in Teaching Award and the MSK Research Mentor Award twice.
Finally, and most importantly, excellence in cancer care is our number one priority. I rejoice on the opportunity to contribute to patient care and try to give the best version of myself at every moment. Whether issuing a standard imaging report, discussing patient imaging in our disease management team meetings, assisting referring colleagues with time-sensitive imaging needs to guide patient management or working directly with patients. I am delighted to have the opportunity to serve patients at MSK and will remain committed to excellence in clinical care, research and education.
