Bio
Jesus A. Caraveo-Frescas received the B.S. degree from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM), Chihuahua, Mexico, in 2009, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in materials science and engineering, from the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia, in 2010 and 2013, respectively. After graduation, he joined the SABIC’s Corporate Research and Innovation Center as a Senior Scientist, where he led projects of new materials and sensor development. In 2018, he joined UTD as a Research Scientist to lead the radiation sensor development efforts as well as the technology commercialization initiatives.
