个人简介
Maher Al-Greer received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and the M.Sc. degree in computer engineering from the University of Mosul, Mosul, Iraq, in 1999 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Newcastle University, Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K, in 2012.
From 2008 to 2015, he was a Lecturer with the Department of Computer Engineering, University of Mosul, where he was an Assistant Lecturer, from 2001 to 2008. In 2016, he joined the Electrical Power Research Group, as a Research Associate with Newcastle University worked on the Town and Country Hybrid Powertrain (TC48) Innovate U.K. project. He is currently a Senior Lecturer of control of electrical systems with Teesside University, Middlesbrough, U.K. His main research interests include battery systems management and control, signal processing techniques for power electronic systems, system identification and real time parameter estimation, digital power control and adaptive control techniques for power applications, diagnosis and monitoring of power converters, and power semiconductor devices, fault detection, and control.
Dr. Al-Greer is currently an Associate Editor of IET Power Electronics, a Topic Editor of MDPI Energies, and a Guest Member of staff with the School of Engineering, Newcastle University.
