As part of the interdepartmental working group on Phytonematology of the Julius Kuhn-Institute I'm leading the field station in Elsdorf. My working area covers primarily applied research on plant parasitic nematodes in sugar beet rotation systems. Main research interests and responsibilities are: Resistance and tolerance of crops, remotes sensing and phenotyping technologies in plant and nematodes diagnostics, biological and integrated control strategies
