个人简介
Mohammadreza Sanadgol Nezami received the Ph.D. degree in nanoplasmonics from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the University of Victoria, BC, Canada, in 2016, where he worked on the design, fabrication, and characterization of metasurfaces for the enhanced third-order nonlinear optical response, namely third-harmonic generation. In January 2017, he joined the Photonic DataCom team with McGill University, Montreal, QC, Canada, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. He was conducting research on energy-efficient high-speed optoelectronic receiver design and silicon photonics optical receivers for advanced data communication systems, and electronic-photonic co-designed integrated circuits for data communications. Furthermore, he was involved with the characterization of silicon photonics MZI-based optical processors. Moreover, he was involved in developing a comprehensive modeling platform for short-reach VCSEL-based optical interconnects in an electronic design automation tool, namely Cadence Virtuoso, which led to an industrial internship with Reflex Photonics Inc. (now Smiths Interconnect) in Montreal,QC. He is currently a Researcher with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada. His research interests include neuromorphic photonics and optical computing.
