Oscar Ruland received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in aerospace engineering from the Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2018 and 2021, respectively. He has worked on online shape optimization for SmartX-Alpha as part of his M.Sc. thesis research.
From July 2019 to December 2019, he was an Intern at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, TX, USA. He is currently an Aerospace Engineer working at Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), The Hague, The Netherlands. His research interests include simulation, optimization, and control.
