I work on Conservation Genetics of animal species with a special focus on aquatic (riverine and marine) biota. Molecular phylogenetics, phylogeography and population genetics are the main topics of the research I make. Sometimes I use also genome damaging combined or not to those molecular data to evaluate the impact over the species and their environments. I am also to contribute on the conservation status of both, species and environments.
