Sebastian Szymczyk obtained a master's degree in mechatronic engineering at the Poznań University of Technology (2014-2019). He started working at Dimark S. A. (2018) as a junior designer during his studies. After graduating, changed the company to the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Industrial Institute of Agricultural Machines (2019) to the position of an automation specialist. By implementing EU and national projects, Sebastian gained experience in designing and programming control systems for agricultural mobile machines and devices from the food industry. Participated in works related to preparing and conducting experimental research on prototypes of agricultural and forestry machines and vehicles. Assisted in a project no. POIR.04.01.04-00-0048: "Series of active pick-up-belt rakes with mechatronic control system for working units and yield registration", the effect of which is the pick-up-belt rake implemented in production (2020). At the moment, Sebastian is one of the control designers in a project no. POIR.01.01.01-00-1230: "An intelligent robot that meets the requirements of precision farming", which will result in the first Polish innovative commercial robot for fieldwork. Currently, as part of the ministerial program implementation doctorate (2021), he began doctoral studies at the Poznań University of Technology, realizing the topic of his doctorate entitled: "Development and research of a mechatronic agricultural sprayer with variable spraying characteristics", the aim of which is to implement a new mechatronic agricultural sprayer on the market. His Professional interest is in mobile machine control systems, machine vision, field robots, and issues from the agricultural industry, such as precision agriculture and agriculture 4.0.
