个人简介
Professor Yang’s recent research areas are precision education and human-centered AI in education. Precision education refers to the application of AI through the four steps of diagnosis, prediction, treatment, and prevention, to identify at-risk students as early as possible and provide timely intervention and assistance. The special issue “Precision education—a new challenge for AI in education,” which was edited by Professor Yang and published in 2021 in Educational Technology & Society, is the first SSCI journal paper to delineate the application of AI in precision education.
Professor Yang also actively promoted human-centered AI in education that emphasizes that AI operations must take the human situation as the main consideration, provide an interpretable calculation and judgment process, constantly adjust AI algorithms with reference to humans and social phenomena, and subsequently improve the well-being of human society under human conditions.
