Ecosystem Function Degradation Threaten Evaluation of Upper Yangtze River Based on GIS and RS

The upstream area of Yangtze River is China's key eco-regions and the security of Yangtze River watershed ecological. To promote China's ecological function assessment and planning, enhance the ability of the region's water conservation and other ecological functions, control the status of ecosystem degradation of the Yangtze River region, the threat of ecosystem functions degradation on the Yangtze River were assessed in this study. Final evaluation results show that the Yangtze River showing from the "scattered" development "focus on contiguous" state of degradation.
