The relationship between structure and biological activity of azoles was previously theoretically studied for their antiviral [1], broncholytic [2], immunotropic [3, 4], and some other properties [5 - 8]. This analysis made it possible to formulate mathematical models capable of predicting these properties and to propose some potentially active and practically realizable structures capable of producing desired biological effects. Reliable estimates of the embryotoxieity and some other toxicological characteristics of commercially available and planned products would allow us to prompthy reveal and reject potentially dangerous compounds already in the stage of development and screening of new biologically active substances and predict possible toxicity manifestations during the experimental justification of sanitary-hygienic norms. Data available in the literature provide fragmentary knowledge about the mechanisms of embryotoxic action of separate products or even groups of drugs [9, 10], which can be used neither for predicting the effects of new compounds
