Screening of the Essential Oil Composition of Sicilian Officinal Plants

The qualitative and quantitative composition of the essential oils obtained from wild Sicilian officinal plants has been investigated. The aim of this study is to promote the cultivation and the possible exploitation of the aromatic plants, which have for long time been considered a poor source of profit.
