A Case of Clear Cell Meningioma in Meckel's Cave
Skull base(2009)
Abstract
Background: Clear cell meningioma (CCM) is a relatively rare tumor (0.2% of all meningiomas in the CNS). Meckel's cave meningioma may originate from embryonal remains of the arachnoid in the sheath around the trigeminal nerve, and may vary histologically. Immunohistochemical examination helps to define cases of uncommon subtypes of meningioma.
