Use of Peripheral Gene Expression Testing in the Detection of Coronary Allograft Vasculopathy with Intravascular Ultrasound
JOURNAL OF HEART AND LUNG TRANSPLANTATION(2010)
摘要
Coronary allograft vasculopathy (CAV) is one of the major causes of late morbidity and mortality in cardiac transplant recipients. Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) allows for direct visualization of the coronary lumen thus allowing for accurate determination of disease severity. Peripheral gene expression testing with Allomap has been shown to correlate with the presence of CAV using standard coronary angiography. It is unknown if Allomap testing in primary cardiac transplant recipients allows for early detection of CAV using IVUS testing.
