Retour d'expérience sur l'enseignement de l'intelligence artificielle : vers un environnement d'apprentissage Web

We present the result of our reflection about learning in the artificial intelligence introduction course offered at the computer science department of Université Laval. This reflection allows us to emphasize new pedagogical needs to help students learn better. We also present the learning environment that we are developing. This environment involves the studying of examples containing solved problems. Students are invited to self- explain the problem solving steps. The access will be done with a Web site in order that learning be more flexible. Students will be able, if they wish it, to collaborate in order to find the best explanation. For the moment, retroaction will be made in classroom by the teacher, who can make a better feedback on the students' actions. Such an environment should be more motivating for students and adapted to their individual rate, and should increase their participation.
