40.1: Invited Paper: Current Status of Printing OLEDs

The biggest issue of printed OLED device performance has been significantly improved. In 1000cd/m2 green devices produced using inkjet printing over 45,000 hrs lifetime (50% down from initial luminance) in polymer system and 40 cd/A luminous efficiency in small molecule system were achieved. This progress shows great promise for fabricating large‐Sized and low‐cost OLED display by inkjet printing.
