Mutant breeding of high effective phosphate-solubilizing bacteria Bacillus subtilis P-1 by nitrogen ionic beam.

A mutant strain Bacillus subtilis P-1-5 induced by mutation of Nitrogen ionic beam was screened and its phosphate-solubilizing capacity was 48% higher than that of the initial strain B.subtilis P-1.The activities of alkaline phosphates and the content of soluble phosphate of B.subtilis P-1-5 and B.subtilis P-1 were quantitatively analyzed.The results showed that the trends of both strains were roughly consistent,but the alkaline phosphates activities and the content of soluble phosphate of B.subtilis P-1-5 were higher than that of the initial strain B.subtilis P-1 over the same period.This indicated that the phosphate-solubilizing capacity of the mutant strain B.subtilis P-1-5 was better than that of the initial strain B.subtilis P-1.
