Simulation tests on the oxygen sensor failures of a electronically controlled gasoline/CNG flexible-fuel engine

摘要
The oxygen sensor failure simulation test is completed on the self-developed Gasoline/CNG dual-fuel engine fault simulation test-bed,and the effect of the faults on dynamic,economy,emissions is studied.Experimental results show that after losing the signal of the oxygen sensor,the rev slows down when idling,the emission of HC rises,and the emissions of CO and NOx reduce.At the medium load,the torque,power,gas consumption,specific gas consumption and the emissions of CO and NOx reduce,and the emission of HC rises.When the oxygen sensor signal is lost,ECU can not adjust the density according to the real condition,and the performance of the engine is very different from the expectation.
