456: Echo or Levo EF in Older Donor Hearts; Is the Echo EF Sufficient?
JOURNAL OF HEART AND LUNG TRANSPLANTATION(2008)
摘要
Because of donor heart shortages the criteria for organ acceptability have been expanded considerably over the past decades and, as a result, the upper donor age limit has been extended. This, therefore, has increased the probability of transplanting imperfect donor hearts. Echocardiographic (echo) examination of donor hearts is the gold standard for evaluation, however it is well known that echo-results differ from investigators to investigator. Levocardiography (levo) results are less investigator-dependent, however no echo ejection fraction (EF) to levo EF comparison in donor hearts was performed up to now.
