The kinetics of chemical reactions in ferrous-thionine photogalvanic solutions

The kinetics of four chemical reactions which occur in a ferrous-thionine photogalvanic cell during illumination have been analysed in detail Several rate constants were evaluated. The pseudo-exponential description used in the literature for the reappearance of thionine is not correct Reactions additional to these four are not needed to explain the reappearance of thionine quantitatively.
