Calculation Error Due To Mesh Size Applied In Qad-Cggp2

摘要
This paper aims to understand calculation error of the point kernel integration code QAD-CGGP2 widely applied. It has been systematically studied about mesh number dependence of flux and error in QAD-CGGP2 calculation using a simple computer-aided program because of restriction in an applicable maximum mesh number of the program. The error in the fluxes from a few typical sources depends largely on mesh number, the ratio of the representative dimension of a source to the distance from a source to a measuring point, and partially on a distance from a mesh midpoint to the foot of the normal line on a measuring point. The factors of the error were evaluated quantitatively.
