摘要
Objective To investigate the correlation between rs1007888a single nucleotide polymorphisms in macrophage migration inhibitory factor(MIF) gene and gestational fasting blood glucose(FBG) and insulin resistance(HOMA-IR).Methods This study consisted of 240 pregnant women who were hospitalized in our hospital during 2011.11—2012.07.Of whom,110 with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) and 130 healthy pregnant.MIF rs1007888 locus genotypes were detected by PCR and DNA sequencing technology in fasting blood samples. The levels of FBG and fasting insulin(FIN) were determined, and HOMA-IR was quantified by homeostasis model assessment. The differences of FBG and HOMA-IR were compared between different-ge-notype pregnant women. Results There were three genotypes detected at MIF rs1007888: GG,GA,and AA.Differences of FBG and HOMA-IR between GG-genotype and GA-and AA-genotype pregnant women were significant(F=37.88,40.26;q=3.48-4.01;P0.05).Conclusion MIF polymorphism rs1007888 is associated with high gestational FBG and HOMA-IR.GG-genotype pregnant women are more liable to suffering from diabetes.
