GEOREFERENZIAZIONE DI IMMAGINI SATELLITARI AI FINI DI PRODUZIONE DI MODELLI DIGITALI DEL TERRENO (DTM) E AGGIORNAMENTO DI CARTOGRAFIA

In this work results obtained from the testing, split into two stages, using satellite images coming from QuickBird, Ikonos2, Spot5 and Eros A over a Test Area in Campania (Italy), are shown. During the first stage different components which influence the georeferencing of satellite data are analysed. Then different phases of the process which lead to the production of new cartography and to the updating of the pre-existing one have been studied critically. In the end it is described the alpha version of a new parametric model for the georeferencing of satellite images.
