NINFALÍDEOS (LEPIDOPTERA, NYMPHALIDAE) OCORRENTES NO RIO GRANDE DO SUL, BRASIL. PARTE IV. APATURINAE E CHARAXINAE

Nymphalids (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae) occurent in Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil. Part V. Biblidinae and Limenitidinae. This study aimed to identify and record Nymphalidae specimens from Rio Grande do Sul, and upgrade existing species lists for this family. The material used in this study consisted on mounted and labeled butterflies from collections, literature review and insects collected in the field. Results showed the presence of 36 species of Biblidinae and 12 of Limenitidinae corresponding in both 13.5% of the related for the Neotropical region.
