Implementation of the LFU Methodology Based on ASIC Technology

In order to implement the LFU arithmetic used in memory management units, this paper describes the implementation of LFU arithmetic based on the TSMC’s 0.18 μm library. The logic can be simplified by finding out the logic laws of picking out the minimum number and the address the minimum number in a set of numbers, thus, the circuit can be simplified. By the means of controlling the depth of the critical path, the logic delay can be reduced. The paper gives out the layout and the static analyze result.
