Rapid applications development in Python

摘要
This paper was an experiment to see if Python is a suitable language for the rapid development of an application. Developing a prototype is essential to rapid development, and Python has a reputation for being a prototyping language, making it an ideal language for the experiment. The application chosen for development was that of a simple calculator using only integers and basic arithmetic operations. The difficulties encountered in developing the Python program for this application are outlined in this paper.
