119. Could focal epilepsy be part of a phenotype associated with Tourette’s syndrome?
Epilepsy & Behavior(2010)
摘要
Objective: Tourette’s syndrome (TS) is a relatively common biological genetic disorder with a broad spectrum of neurobehavioral manifestations, characterized by multiple motor and vocal tics. Accompanying symptoms include coprophenomena and obsessive compulsive behaviors. Simple tics may be mistaken for myoclonic epilepsy and complex tics for focal seizures. Epilepsy associated with TS is exceptional and only occasional reports exist. We aimed to describe a population of eight patients with TS who developed focal epilepsy and EEG abnormalities related to epilepsy.
