The measurement ofD s + andD + meson decays into $$K*^ + \bar K*^0 $$

Using the ARGUS detector at thee+e− storage ring DORIS II at DESY, we have observed the decaysD+→K−K0π+π+ andD s + →K−K0π+π+. The branching ratios were determined to be BR(D+→K−K0π+π+)=(1.0±0.5±0.3)% and BR(D s + →K−K0π+π+)/BR(D s + →φπ+)=1.2±0.2±0.2. These decays are found to proceed mostly via the\(\bar K*^0 K*^ + \) decay channel, with BR(D+→\(\bar K*^0 K*^ + \))=2.6±0.8±0.7)% and BR(D s + →\(\bar K*^0 K*^ + \))/BR(D s + →φπ+)=1.5±0.4±0.4.
