Numerical Simulation for an Automotive Shock Absorber and Its Integration into Vehicle Virtual Prototype

摘要
The numerical simulation method has been used to build a detailed model of an automotive shock absorber. In MSC.ADAMS software package, the shock absorber model has been built using ADAMS/Hydraulics. The model has been validated using test data and the precision is above 90%, which can fulfill the engineering requirement. The model has been integrated into a full vehicle virtual prototype, which can support a systematic research for the effects of shock absorber on full vehicle behaviors.
