A Bench-scaled Experiment for Treating Municipal Sewage by Efficient Chemical Method

The experimental study is intended to develop an efficient chemical sewage treatment process that can lead to a better effluent quality with a shorter time than the conventional process.From the study,optimum reaction condition for the micro-electrolysis,and for Fenton oxidation was obtained respectively.Coagulation and chemical de-nitrification that followed micro-electrolysis and Fenton oxidation eventually produced the water of good quality that meet the requirement of reclaimed water for miscellaneous uses in the urban areas.
