Chaotic attractors in ion-beam plasma system

We report the Poincare sections for identification of periodic bifurcations and chaos in an ion-beam plasma system using a simple differential circuit adapted to the system. Poincare sections reveal the structural characteristics of the phase space trajectories of the bifurcations and chaos showing finite numbers of dots for periodic orbits and strange attractors for chaotic orbits consisting of an infinite number of layers.
