Consideration of "One Road One Route" Bus Line Networks Layout

Reasonable bus line network planning has an important impact on improving the service level of public transport system and its overall efficiency, and optimizing urban traffic structure. According to the road one route bus flow, based on classification of the bus line function and theone road one route principle, the paper applied road one route system derived from large-capacity rapid rail transit system to bus line network layout. The paper proposed a mode of road one route bus line network layout. Then, the setting steps of the mode were discussed. At last, the authors introduced the basic information about the mode: the characteristics, and the requirement of the layout carrier of the bus line network. Meanwhile, the understandings of high tranfer rate and low through characteristics were discussed.
