摘要
It is widely accepted that the Mobile Internet will become a key driver for operators and service providers with respect to end-user businesses. The Mobile Internet does not cover exclusively mobile communication, it includes also fixed communication. Therefore Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) mechanism implemented in form of the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) will become an important part of such an operator infrastructure. IMS is currently still in the standardisation process. The presented ScaleNet project participates actively with their ideas in this process e.g. by defining extended components such as the Universal Access Node (UAN). The Mobile Internet also covers roaming - the access to domains beyond the borders of the home domain. Two mechanisms have to be placed in such a scenario: Federation to ensure the service provisioning in the visited domain by the - for the user - well known home services. The second function has to ensure user privacy, which means the visited operator does not necessary have to know, who the visitor is. However, business concepts to ensure the revenues for the consumed services have to be established. A federation concept and a Virtual ID (VID) concept - for privacy - are currently researched in the Daidalos Project and will be presented in conjunction with the combination of the IMS driven ScaleNet architecture.
