Summary Recommendations of the Committee are as follows: 1) Pyrophosphate in soap — Recommend tentative adoption of the volumetric method using the glass electrode. 2) Free alkali in potash paste soaps—No changes recommended in the method at the present time. Further studies will be undertaken.
