Objective To study the accumulated irradiation dose of nursing personnel post the 125I seed implantation therapy operation within one year.Methods Through placing the γ-ray survey meter 0cm,15cm,30cm,50cm,100cm from puncture point of the patients after seed implantation therapy at different angles,and detect gamma dose calculate average.According to the nursing staff and patients contact time and distance,calculates the nursing staff within 1 year accumulative accept the biggest radiation dose.Results The cumulative biggest accept the radiation dose 0cm,15cm,30cm,50cm,1m,respectively 13 nursing staff in our department within 1 year were about(55.65± 31.23)mSv,(25.48 ± 11.77)mSv,(13.40 ± 6.00)mSv,(7.36 ±2.51),(6.14±1.52)mSv.Conclusion The nurses one year accept gamma rays in our department is less than the international commission on radiological protection(ICRP) and our countryionizing radiation protection and safety of radioactive sources GB18871-2002basic standards prescribed dose limit 50 mSv.
