摘要

A cell for the uniaxial compression of crystals at pressures of up to 5 kbar and used in µ − SR experiments to investigate aluminum acceptor impurities in silicon is described. The dimensions of the samples under study were ∼9.5 × 9.5 × 20 mm. The pressure was monitored with calibrated resistor strain gauges.
