SIRE: A Semantic Biometric Identity Browsing and Searching System using Multi-modal Fusion

In this paper, we present the Semantic Biometric Id entity Browsing and Searching System (SIRE), an innovative and cutting-edge research application that tackles biometric identity faceted browsing and search usin g Multi-modal fusion techniques as their main innovat ion cornerstones. We have developed a rich ontology for biometric identities, the Ontology for Biometric Id entity (OBI) and a SIRE proof-of-concept implementation to show the breakthroughs of semantic faceted browsing and searching.
