2006 Sir Annual Scientific Meeting Film Panel Cases

The 2006 Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) Annual Meeting marks the eighth year of the SIR Film Panel. This event provides a unique blend of education and entertainment for attendees. The ground rules are simple: the moderator provides each panelist with the patient history and the pertinent images. After previewing the cases, the panelists present their interpretation of the findings and their management decisions to a large live audience. Presentation style is left to the discretion of each individual panelist—and may verge on performance art. Although the answers will be published in JVIR after the SIR Annual Meeting, there is no substitute for being in the audience; much of the program simply cannot be translated to the print media. The Film Panel Session will take place at the 2006 SIR Annual Scientific Meeting in Toronto, ON, Canada, Sunday, April 2, from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.
