Antiproton-Nucleon Annihilation Into Pi M-0 And Eta M With M = Eta, Omega, Rho, And Pi In Antiproton-Deuterium Annihilation At Rest

Using modularized NaI(T1) detectors, we carried out a high-statistics measurement of inclusive pi(0) and eta spectra in antiproton annihilation at rest in a liquid D-2 target. We obtained the following two-meson yields (branching ratios) per pN (N = p or n) annihilation: 0.19 +/- 0.09% for pi(0)omega, 1.07 +/- 0.19% for pi(0)rho(0), 0.057 +/- 0.018% for pi(0)eta(0), 0.0123 +/- 0.0055% for pi(0)pi(0), 0.02 +/- 0.02% for pi(0)rho(-), 0.202 +/- 0.031% for pi(0)pi(-), 0.49 +/- 0.12% for eta omega, 0.45 +/- 0.15% for eta rho(0), and 0.91 +/- 0.22% for eta rho(-).
