Research on the fire emergency communication network in building based on wireless mesh network

With the ever-increased spreading of building around the city as well as the rising of high-rise and super tall buildings in recent years, fire safety problems become prominent gradually and the fire probability grows correspondingly. The wireless mesh network (WMN) technology was introduced in the fire communication network of the high-rise buildings and super tall buildings to solve the wireless communication safe guard problem during fire extinguishments and salvage. The function, constitute, key-technology, and working process of the communication system were introduced. The application prospect for the WMN in fire wireless communication fields was summarized at the end.
