摘要
Centered on the problems of system failure on civil nuclear-powered ships, the first problem asked to be resolved is that suitable and operational methods are needed to build a system fault model for nuclear-powered ships in order to provide a theoretical basis and technical support for safety analysis of operating nuclear-powered ships. Analyzing the failure of nuclear-powered plants, professionals in the industry usually adopt relatively mature determinism assessment and increasingly mature probability risk assessment (PRA). The vast models of fault tree assessment (FTA) and event tree assessment (ETA) are built under the system of PRA. Having analyzed the functions and relationships of each system of civil marine nuclear power plant, relatively complete fault models of primary system are developed for nuclear-powered ships based on three elements, combining some methods of system failure modeling in the system security theory. It is an open model, and the successors can be refined and expanded. The modeling contains some thought and logic of FTA, ETA, and the analytic hierarchy process, but it does not rely on any one method, which will be used as the platform of civil nuclear-powered ship analysis in the future. © 2013 American Society of Civil Engineers.
