Expression of Bcl-2, Bax and M30 in Verruca Vulgaris

Objective: To detect the relation of apoptosis and verruca vulgaris. Methods: The expression of Bcl-2,Bax and M30 were detected in 29 lesions of verruca vulgaris by immunohistochemical staining. Results: Bax was positively expressed in 9 cases (31%); Bcl-2 was weakly positive in 6 cases(21%);M30 was negative in all cases. Conclusion: The proliferation of verruca vulgaris may not be due to reduced apoptosis of epidermal keratinocytes.
