摘要
The superplastic behavior of FGH96 alloy has been studied in this paper, the results show that deformation at temperature 1050°C, 1100°C and over a range of initial strain rate from 1 × 10 -3 s -1 to 1 × 10 -3 s -1, extremely significant superplastic effect can be attained. Superplastic elongation in excess of 825% can be obtained in tensile testing, at deforming temperature 1050°C, at an initial strain rate 1.67 × 10 -3 s -1. When the as- HIP and HIP+HIF FGH96 alloy is isothermal compressed at the same deformation condition, The flow stress of HIP+HIF FGH96 alloy is significantly reduced. The metallographic examination indicated that When the HIP+HIF FGH96 alloy is tensile tested superplasticity, dynamic recrystallization has occurred and grain size is significantly refined, which lead to fine and stable grains necessary for achieving superplasticity. The work in this paper can provide useful information for isothermal forging process of P/M superalloy turbine disk.
