Data mining applied in teaching data of University

In university, the teaching management system has stored amount of students' data and their scores. Using data mining technique on these data, we can get much valuable and interesting information or knowledge. These could help teachers to improve their teaching effect. This paper applies some data mining methods in teaching data of a university. The mining results show that data analysis of university is valuable for improving the university teaching quality. © 2008 IET.
