A kind of composite structure filter fabric which is used to remove the solid particles contained in the fluid is introduced in this paper. This filter fabric has high strength, high through-pass and variational aperture, which were used on special filter machine. Based on the requirements of belt type filter, the filter fabric must has good mechanical properties such as wide adaptability of the working environment, long service life, and also has a good filtering effect. This composite structure filter fabric is three-dimensional, which is comprised by base fabric, bonding layer and flocking fiber. The base fabric has porous mesh structure. The flocking fibers have same incline direction and the incline angle is between 30 degrees to 80 degrees. The count of the filter fabric is 48x29 ends/10cm (warp x weft). The weight per unit area is 1906 g/cm(2). The apparent thickness is 6.49 mm and the stability thickness is 5.19 mm. The total tightness of fabric is 60%. The breaking strength and breaking elongation of warp are 21.52 Mpa and 23.54 mm, the initial modulus is 485.56 N/mm(2), fracture work is 70.96 J. The breaking strength and breaking elongation of weft are 5.92 Mpa and 70.39 mm, the initial modulus is 73.27 N/mm(2), fracture work is 56.90 J. The permeability coefficient of filter fabric is 3.74x10(-1) (cm/s) and the equivalent aperture is 0.45 mm.
