Study On Fabric Sensor With Layered Structure

In response to the problem for non-washable and poor taking comfortable characterizations of smart electronic fabrics at present, a fabric sensor with double weave is designed. The core-spun yarn made of metal wire is used as core wire core-spun yarn to built the structural unit with capacitor function, which makes fabric sensor functional to feel external pressure. The model of equivalent electronic circuit of the fabric sensor and the effects on fabric capacitance are analyzed, and the capacitance characteristics of three fabric sensors with different area are discussed. The results show that the larger the fabric area, the greater the capacitance under the same test frequency; when the test frequency is 100Hz, the test capacitance is maximum under the same fabric area; the increasing rate of capacitance of 12cm(2) fabric is minimum when the pressure on fabric is less than 2.0cN, and the increasing rate of capacitance of three fabrics are greater than 6% when the pressure on fabric is more than 2.0cN.
