A semantic mapping visualization maintenance method under the ontology evolution

How to integrate and share data in relational databases on the web becomes a hotspot in recent years. The key problem is to build the semantic mapping between databases and ontology. It is urgent to maintain these semantic mapping as the ontology evolves. Traditional semantic mapping maintenance methods could not solve the database schema and ontology evolution problems efficiently. In this article, we propose a semantic mapping maintenance method under the ontology evolution which improves the efficiency of the maintenance. This method also applies the visualization tech into the semantic mapping maintenance in order to modify the semantic mapping conveniently. © 2011 Binary Information Press December, 2011.
