Our country roadside transportation accident rate is very high, the reason is the inadequate roadside clear zone distance. In order to improve our country's roadside traffic condition, considering the existing road standard's foundation, the domestic and foreign roadside width researches, using the analysis and contrast the method, in view of our country roadside's actual situation, we get the roadside clear zone distance which suits to our country path development. © 2011 IEEE.
