Experimental characterization of elliptical hollow-core photonic bandgap fiber at wavelengths within the bandgap

摘要
We fabricate the hollow-core photonic bandgap fiber with elliptical core (EC-PBGF) and also show the possibility of strain and temperature sensing applications by composing a Sagnac loop interferometer with the fabricated EC-PBGF.
