Comb-laser driven WDM for short reach silicon photonic based optical interconnection

We describe an InAs/GaAs quantum dot laser used in conjunction with an SOI ring resonator modulation scheme to provide mutli-wavelength transmission for optical interconnects. The current proposed co-packaging solution may be extended using bonding technology.
